Through a series of major combustion programs at Brayton over the past year, Brayton has received funding to open a new combustion test cell. The new 3 kg/s combustor test cell is equipped with a recuperator to provide preheat to simulate a range of gas turbine combustor inlet temps. The facility is currently being used to develop new ultra-low emission combustors for small gas turbines.
